Roboskî families along with representatives of many political parties and NGOs started a march to the massacre area following the ‘one-day vigil for justice’ on the half-anniversary of the Roboskî Massacre.

The protestors were stopped by soldiers before leaving the village where they were barricaded and attacked with TOMA vehicles and pressure water.

The old and children members of victim families strongly reacted against the harsh intervention of soldiers and underlined that they will not give up fighting for justice until those responsible answer for the massacre of 34 people.

Following the soldiers’ attack, Roboski families took their identity cards from their pockets and threw them on the ground. “We are ashamed of being citizens of this country”, they said and stepped on the id cards to voice their reaction.
